I noticed two separate charges in my warehouse phone bill from Valley Telephone Cooperative and they came from an obscure company called OAN Services, Inc., both of the charges for the amount of $12.95 totaling $25.90, posted on the May and June bills of this year. I have reported this company to Better Business Bureau, and they informed me that they couldn't find this company and that they considered this a dirty smelly SCAM like many others out there. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Texas Attorney General; because one just wanders how many people have this company already scammed. Beware of OAN Services it's a SCAM.

I found a bill fron OAN on my own phone bill. It was for a very modest amount, $4.61 and was a fair charge for international phone calls I made using the discount prefix 1010229 prior to dialing my international calls. My guess is that an employee of the warehouse owner used this prefix to "call home." For what it is worth my calls to most of South America range from 1 to two US CENTS per minute from California to Venezuela and to Brasil in particular -- calls to cellular phones are more expensive per minute but still a small fraction of the ATT prices.
