OAN Telseven fraudulent billing Ponte Vedra Florida

I have telephone service with my local telephone company. I do not have a long-distant carrier. I have a freeze on my line to protect me from being slammed. I used a phone card from Sam's Club if I need to make a long distant call.

I was shocked to see my telephone bill. OAN Telstar had billed me through Sprint for 2-one minute long distant phone calls to their directory assistant. The number they said I called was 702-555-1212. We did not make any calls!! None!!! Just local. According to the bill it was made during the week at 7 in the morning and 7:01 in the morning; each one minute and each costing over 5 bucks! We are not even up at that time. We would not use directory assistance anyway. I would type the number into MSN white pages for free. This is a total ripoff.

I called them and was told maybe a family member or friend. We have no family or friends!! I told them I was reporting them to the FCC and she then said she would credit me. I also called my local phone company and the guy there said he is hearing the same story a lot. He said he would file a dispute. Tomorrow I am calling the FCC. They are thieves!!
