Ocean Air Logistics Incompetent, Unethical, Fly by Night Company Miami, Florida

This company is an especially unfortunate combination of unethical and incompetent. They lowball initial estimates to suck you in, then jack up prices once they have your merchandise. I am still waiting to receive a shipment that arrived in port 15 days ago. Ms Patricia Guzman took over after their employee Yolanda either quit or was fired. She missed two shipping dates on my merchandise,which forced me to pay $500 for a partial FedEx shipment to ensure adequate inventory.

Once Ms. Guzman took over, she sent an invoice that was about $300 higher than than I the one received just a week before. She requested and received my credit card authorization but now demands payment by wire transfer or Western Union, claiming their "system is down." I believe this is to prevent me from contesting charges though my credit card company, since Ms Guzman processed an earlier payment, and my credit is stellar. Of course Ms Guzman does not offer to deduct the $35 wire charge from my bank from their invoice.

Mr Lorenzo Lopez is the customs broker who owns the company. He is not the least bit interested in customer service. He is dishonest and a con artist, obviously instructing his employees in such tactics. My invoices have been sent dated at least 7 days before they are actually emailed to me. This would mislead anyone looking at the transactions and allows Mr Lopez to stick you for the invoice amount or face additional charges for storage, since he emails the jacked up invoice just a few days before free storage runs out.

Find another broker. This is a fly by night, dishonest, rip off company. Amazing they've been in business this long.
