I am appalled to learn that Ocwen has done to others what it has done to me. In Aug 2001 my mortgage servicing was transferred to Ocwen, but my payment for Aug wasn't & has never been found, to date.
After lots of calls, back & forth and Ocwen sending payments back, refusing payments, etc., they proceeded to foreclosure in Jan 2002. I paid over $6,000 in fees, etc. to save my home, paid elevated payments for 1 yr, then fought with them, they wanted to do another year in foreberance, when in fact, they year's foreberance had caught me up (should have anyway).
Long story short - they are a nightmare to deal with, and I want to know how to contact someone to join the class action suit (Hanson vs. Ocwen).
