When Rick O'Neal from Omega called I knew immediately this was a scam. Therefore, I did not take the bait, but instead played along to get their information to report them.
He didn't know my name (even though I've been here for years). He didn't know what kind of copier we have, or the model number. And, he didn't know that we have a service contract that includes all consumables except paper. But yet the toner was offered at the "low" price of $229 (last time deal because the price would be going up the next day to $329). And he wanted to ship me two because "that is what we have ordered in the past". $458 for something that we do not have to order!!
Bottom line: DO NOT give in to people who call you. If you need supplies for anything, you are always the one that initiates the request.
