A few days, I got a call from "Tony" from "On the go magazine". He tried to sell me advertising space in this magazine. I requested him to send me details by e-mail, which he promised to send but not without an attitude. Never received an e-mail. He called again today, and when I told him I didn't get the e-mail, he said, that's why he doesn't like to send them, they hardly ever arrive. (yeah, right?)

So, he walks me through this magazine on-line, but all the ads are generic. I tell him that I want to see a local copy before I would consider this any further. He said, since he was only 6 months with the company, he would have to check whether there were any left. Next thing I know, there's another (even more aggressive) person on the phone. Again, I request a copy of last year's magazine. I'm then informed that none extisted, because the didn't print one for this area yet. I said, I wasn't interested then, and his reply was, that timing was a problem, that if he sent me a copy, by the time I got it, the dealine for the great deal would be gone. I reminded him that he just told me that there was no copy and now all of a sudden he could send me one? He was silent, so I asked whether or not there was an existing copy. He said no and I said then I was not interested. He simply hung up the phone.

I have to add here, that the same Tony called me about 3 years ago and tried to scam me the same way. So I knew from the very beginning that it was a scam put played along, out of curiousity. I'm shocked at how deceiving they are and really hope that no one ever falls for their scam!

I am convinced that not one single copy of this magazine was ever printed!
