WHY DOES A COMPANY AUTOMATICALLY SEND YOU SOMETHING YOU DON'T WANT UNLESS YOU REMEMBER TO TELL THEM YOU DON'T WANT IT? BECAUSE THEY ARE BANKING ON THE CHANCE YOU WILL FORGET AND SOCK YOU WITH THE CHARGES. IT'S DISINGENUOUS AND SLEAZY AND IT DESCRIBES ONE SPIRIT BOOK CLUB. I FAITHFULLY WENT ON LINE EVERY MONTH TO DECLINE MY FEATURED SELECTION BUT THIS LAST TIME, THE WEBSITE WAS UNAVAILABLE. THEY CLAIM I NEVER DECLINED AND SENT THE SELECTION AND CHARGED MY ACCOUNT. BECAUSE OF THIS I AM OVERDRAWN AND HAVE TO PAY $60.00 IN OVERDRAFT FEES. DON'T GET ME STARTED ON OVERDRAFT FEES; THAT'S ANOTHER RIPOFF....

SO ONE SPIRIT AGREES TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT IF I RETURN THE BOOKS. THEY DID AND I DID BUT I'M STILL STUCK WITH $60.00 IN OD CHARGES. STAY AWAY FROM ANY COMPANY THAT AUTOMATICALLY SENDS YOU SOMETHING YOU DON'T ASK FOR. I THINK THE UNAVAILABLE WEBSITE IS A TACTIC TO PORK YOU BECAUSE THEY KNOW YOU ACTUALLY HAVE IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER.

I received a $30.00 credit to cover one of my overdraft charges today. This, after I sent a scathing email the night before. Still out $30.00 so I guess that makes them half bad and not all bad.
