Online Supplier -- Billing Credit Cards Without Authorization Goleta California

I found a little ad which offered "free information" and clicked it. That's when the trouble started! Filled in the usual information and clicked "submit", then they wanted a credit card number just to cover postage. It's so slick that just about anyone can be pulled in...

The next day the phone calls started trying to pull me in deeper and sell more stuff, 2 or 3 a day...with the help of caller ID I avoided most of them. They usually are listed "no name, no number", but these guys are slick...somehow they can use different area codes and numbers to try to trick you into picking up the phone.

Several days later I checked my Visa account and found that Online Supplier had charged my card $49.95. I contacted Visa to inquire about the charge, they suggested I call Online Supplier and ask for a refund. What I got at Online Supplier Customer Service was a BAD ATTITUDE...after demanding to talk to a supervisor (many times) they finally gave me a $24.95 credit and cancelled the membership that I had never signed up for.

So for now, I have an outstanding charge of $25.00 (and lots of trouble) for clicking that little ad for the "free information". I'm disputing the charge with Visa, I'm sure that will take a few more weeks. BOTTOM LINE: Online Supplier trades in ripping people off and trying to work with their "Customer Service" is pure hell!
