On February 7, I ordered one Online Supplier kit* from onlinesupplier.com. The kit* arrived in my mailbox on February 13. According to the terms and conditions, you have 14 days to cancel your "so-called membership," or you will be billed $49.95. Simple math concludes that if you received the kit* on February 13, then you have until February 27, to cancel. I began calling on February 19, and was either put on hold or my call was "mysteriously" disconnected.

Finally, today I was able to reach a customer service-not representative only to learn that my 14 day trial period began February 7. Now, for most of us rationally thinking people, it's extremely difficult to review information you don't have in front of you. This is just the most brazen form of scamming I've ever encountered. I can't believe these people are allowed to continue operating. In all honestly, this is the first time I have ever been ripped off purchasing through the Internet. I have contacted my credit card company and will follow up with a letter declaring unauthorized use of my credit card. And the kit is an 8X11, 24 page catalog with more online service kits to purchase. I set out to purchase information that would enlighted me to the world of online auctions. Instead, I invited thieves full access to my credit card.

$49.95 refunded

AUTHOR: Elizabeth - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 05, 2007

After contacting the California Attorney General, ic3.gov and my credit card company, the $49.95 that was stolen from me by onlinesupplier.com was refunded. I received an apologetic email from the powers-that-be. They weren't necessarily apoligizing for billing my credit card without my authorization, but rather expressing their concern for my dissatisfaction as a member of onlinesupplier.com.

All I can do at this point is shake my head in disbelief. Disbelief in the fact that these scammers think they are operating a legitimate online business, or want to you to think they are. So to all of you who are still trying to get your money back, keep trying. Write to every watchdog group you can find an email address for. And to those of you wise enough to do a little research before clicking that submit button, kudos to you. Best of luck everyone.
