I received a letter that i was preapproved for refinancing. After giving them my information, i received an email that i was approved for a loan. A few hours later, i received an email stating that i was not approved due to my loan to value ratio.  WHen i called open road lending, i was told that i received that email because i was approved to a certain point.

The Point Is???

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 24, 2016

The name of this website is "Ripoff Report" which is a place where people can post descriptions of an actual "ripoff".  Your experience does not fall into that category. The lender, any lender, considers loan to value ratio.  The car acts as security for the loan.  If the car is of low value, it cannot be used as security and as such, presents too much of a risk for the lender.  NO RIPOFF HERE!
