I am looking for employment and recall applying for a position via the job board Monster.com.
I recevied the following email:
Your resume was reviewed and we're so excited to have you join our human resources department as the new Office Assistant. However, I don't have your educational questionnaire on file and due to the starting salary for this position, we can't offer you the job without it. Once you complete the questionnaire, I will give you a call within 20-minutes to confirm your interview. Are you available to meet with our hiring team on Tuesday June 3rd at 11AM - new hire orientation begins in 9-days.
P.S. Your questionnaire is required because this position is usually performed by someone with an advanced degree. However, we are prepared to make you a strong job offer (smile)!
Warm regards,
Lauren

A common scam

There is no job, this is all about someone getting kickback $$ for hopefully leading you to apply for an online university..this scam is very transparent in that the 'HR person' will be overly interested in your educational background, the ad may say that they want someone with educational goals or you will be asked if you would consider returning to school.
