Shipped PaceButler Corporation 47 cellphones ranging from Old School flip phones to iPhone 5's and 6's. Several Samsung Galaxy S5's and S6's. One Note 3. About 6-8 good, working smartphones plus many other older phones and Blackberrys.
Receive a check for $89 about a week later.
That included a $20 extra bonus for shipping the phones without referring to Ripoff Report first. (Which is clearly what I should have done -- there are many negative reports about Pace Butler here.)
So ... $69 for 47 cell phones including ten relatively modern smartphones. $69 according to their valuation.
Any one of those smartphones is worth more than what my company received for the entire box of phones we shipped them.
The valuation received does not match the valuation claimed on their website. The difference between the website (using accurate condition valuation) and the check we received is astonishing.
PaceButler undervalues phones to such an extent that I immediate wrote them the following reply, sent to their representative, Kaylee Walker --
Kaylee,
Our transaction with Pace-Butler was not entirely unsatisfactory. Your professionalism and customer-focus is much appreciated
However, the $69 (plus $20 additional from your promo certificate) is a smack across my face.
I sent you at least six fully operational smartphones. Any one of them was worth more than what you sent us.
Do not contact [company name] again.
Do not even reply to this message. I will advise as many of my peers as possible to not do business with Pace-Butler.
