Paces Personnel/ Paces Staffing Paces Personnel Administration and sending out mass resumes Internet

I am a former member of staff at Paces Staffing. I worked for nine months as a staffing assistant, until I decided that recruiting was not for me. The job is just administration. I thought that recruiting was about matching candidates with jobs, but this isnt the case. It is more like sending candidates to every law firm in town as quickly as possible in the hope that one law firm will hire.  I did not get a lot of training from Paces Staffing. Mostly, Kay would tell me where to send my candidates and I would fax the resume to those firms. The job was the same day in day out.  We were very successful. We would have parties, in the office or in a restaurant to celebrate making our monthly target. If we did not hit the target, we avoided speaking to Kay as she was very bad tempered. We called her Tasmanian devil as she was quite mad at times. She often laughed about us calling her that.  Kay was very good fun at parties. She is definitely the loudest and certainly likes her wine. I would not say it was a negative experience for me, but I would say that recruiting was not for me, and the office/personalities at the office were sometimes challenging.
