I was a recruiter at Paces. It was not a good place to work unless you wanted to be micromanaged by the owner of the company, Kay Stanley. She kept the best clients for herself and made us do the work most of the time to fill her job orders. That way, we'd get a much smaller commission. It's much better at Axiom and many other recruiters in Atlanta.

Many recruiters including myself could not work there any more and left going to competitors to be successful there. I saw it all the time when other recruiters left. They were immediately turned into objects of hate by Kay Stanley. Everything was very personal. Other recruiters liked being there when the owner was not there.

The business used to be very successful, but when their best recruiter left to set up Paramount, many of the clients started to use Paramount instead of Paces. Paces didn't recover from this. There was a very big issue at the time, and attorneys were involved. HOwever, this continued to drive Kay crazy every day, and will still probably today.
