This scam was tried on my elderly grandmother. A check was sent to her without a return address from Toronto.

It stated that she was a winner of the USA Mega Millions Jackpot, also known as "the big game." It gave her some lottery numbers & a customer service account rep by the name of Sarah Roberts at 1-647-219-2832 that she was required to call.

On the check, it was made out to my grandmother thru Harris Bank Roselle at 110 E. Irving Park Rd, Roselle, IL 60172-2073 and was issued by a company called Ruiz Products, Inc. PO Box 37, Dinuba, CA 93618.

Both her & I recognize this as a scam & forward all of the information to the Better Business Bureau immediatly.

That this was tried on an elderly woman makes me sick. I hope that no one actually falls for such an obviously inept scam.
