Pacific Webworks, QuickStart, EAuctionSuccess Pacific Webworks, Placed unauthorized charge on my account Salt Lake City Utah

While recently reviewing my wife's credit card bills I noticed two charges described as "TW/EAUCTION/801-5789020 UT" My wife seldom if ever uses her credit card on the internet.

I immediately questioned her and she explained she never authorized these charges. She called her credit card company to notify them of these fraudulent charges and to cancel her credit card.

I then contacted TW/AUCTION at the phone number listed above. Upon confirming that they had our billing address and that the "product" purchased was a CD, I explained that my wife had never ordered the CD and had never authorized the charge. I asked the attendant, "Josh", to credit the charges to her account. He explained that we would need to file a police report for "internet fraud" and that the report would need to include our IP address. It was clear that he was very practiced in addressing "unauthorized charge" complaints and that TW/AUCTION, AKA Pacific Webworks, had no intention to credit the charges.

I asked Josh how often he needed to address unauthorized charge complaints. He sheepishly answered, "two or 3 per day."

I intend to file a police report and fight these charges.
