After consolidating my student I have started receiving collection letters from all over, one in particular is from Convergent, aka Palisades Collection, with no identifying factors as to what this debt is for or what type of business it could have been..just you owe this amount of money and we will take (basically half the amount) this amount to pay off. No explanations, nothing.
