I answered a newspaper ad in the Florida Today newspaper, for a car dealership looking for salespeople, no experience neccesary. I responded to the ad, went to an initial interview and was ask if I could start training! I said, YES - excited about a job opportunity. After the first day of enthusiastic pump-you-up type training, it was revealed that only a few of us will be selected... We were selected, and then told that we needed to spend $500 for the training, of which $550 will be returned back to us after 90-days of work. We also found out that the first week of training was performed by a company called World Wide Consulting Services Inc. (http://www.wwcsonline.com), and then the second week was performed by the dealership.

We filled out all the employment forms (taxes, direct deposit, etc).. received our shirts, and name tags.. and went to work ONE DAY. The next day, we were told that ALL OF US FROM THIS TRAINING COURSE was being let go. We asked about our $$, they said "What $$?".. We showed them our forms, and paperwork.. they said they would look into it. Basically, they said that they never hired us, thus not required to refund the money. A scam, a very bad one - because alot of people looking for jobs need money and can't afford to throw away $500!!
