hi folks:
i'm sure you recall me reporting that there were shingles missing on my roof when i moved in and i'm unable to get insurance because of this. and i warned you that this might cause problems in the spring (see below). ... and now there's about 6 more panels of s**+ngles that are about to blow off completely. it's obvious the shingling was not done properly and was defective when i moved in and i sure would appreciate it if you guys would take responsibility and arrange to have the problem fixed so that i can procure insurance as i feel naked here in tornado season without it.

You purchased a used home. Unfortunately, there is no warranties on a used home. ... We, Palm Harbor Homes, are not liable to replace or repair anything on your home. ... I am certain that you can reach out to numerous contractors/hand-men in the area and one will be able to assist you with repairing your shingles. Palm Harbor will not complete any more work on your home Mr. Teague.

well, my understanding was that since i didn't get to do an inspection, that you guys were going to cover anything that i found wrong in the first year. that is the fair thing and what i was expecting of you since i didn't get an inspector there nor did i haggle over your price. now if you don't want to do the honest and fair thing that is your choice and i will assume that is your way of doing business with everyone ... .
