Parago, Inc. Expert Ripoff Company El Paso Texas

I purchased a HP dvd940e External 18x Lightscribe DL DVDRW from Fry's Electronics on 3/31/2007 and was promised a $50 rebate if I sent the correct information to Parago, Inc., PO Box 540007, El Paso TX 88554.

I submitted the required forms and there was no response. I emailed the company and they replied in an email saying I needed to send the UPC #844149031637 and the promotion code. I sent the UPC, as well as, the promotion code requested within the required time frame.

Then the company sends me an email stating, "We are unable to find a record of your rebate submission in our system. Unfortunately, we cannot process a new submission of your information because this particular promotion is closed."

Thus, they are not going to send me my 50 rebate. So, I called the company, and I was told that the UPC that I sent was invalid. So, first they coundn't find my information, but when I call they can find it, but it is invalid.

This is just a bunch of lies. These people are dishonest, and HP should not be associated with them.

I have filed a complaint with the El Paso Better Business Bureau.

I am taking this case to small claims court. I promise. I will take this to court no matter the cost. I refuse to be ripped off!
