PARAGON ACURA DO NOT PURCHASE VEHICLES WOODSIDE New York

Do not waste your time, money, energy and effort walking into the Acura Paragon dealership located on 56-02 Northern Blvd., Woodside, New York.

Recently, I made the mistake of purchasing a vehicle from PARAGON ACURA and was very unsatified by the way I was treated. Paragon does not stand by their famous "we sincerely appreciate your business and look forward to a long-lasting relationship." They claim that there primary goal is for you to be completely satisified.

Why was I completely unsatisified and disgusted?

The reason is simple. Nobody cares@paragon.

Your sales representative doesn't care.

His and/or Her Supervisor doesn't care.

After you view my report, view some of the others listed on this site. Not only do the reports come from buyers, but several are from actual employees who worked under the supervision of a Mr. Allen Blad, who happens to be the general sales manager.

Mr. Allen Blad doesn't care either.

My dilemma began as soon as I physically saw the car. On there website, they had a TL listed for a little over 21K. When I called, they confirmed that the vehicle was still available so I decided to take some time and look into this vehicle. When I got there, they showed me the same vehicle, but it had a significant price difference. The vehicle was listed over 27K.

Negotiating began and it took some time. I was frustrated b/c they finally offered me the listed price on-line, but said that I would have to pay to have the vehicle certified. On-line the price stated it was 21K and that it was a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.

The only positive comes here with my sales consultant, who was very informative and provided me with answers to all of my questions. His knowledge was second to none.

As for his supervisor,totally opposite. For what it's worth, he wanted me to sign paperwork that wasn't completely filled-out. Telling me not to worry and that I would be the very first person not to sign. UNBELIEVABLE to say the very least. After a discussion, he informed me that I had nothing to worry about and just sign it. I told him if he thought I was going to just "sign it," he had another thing coming to him. THIS IS A SUPERVISOR, UNBELIEVABLE!

To make a long story short, I purchased the vehicle. Something I should have never done.

We scheduled delivery. They informed me that the vehicle needed to be cleaned up (detailed to be exact) and to pick it up the following day.

This is where another problem comes to life. There is NO COMMUNICATION. Communication is lacking between the Sales and Service Departments. I recieved a call to pick up the car. When I got there, there was no car. They informed me that the car is on it's way back. I'm not going into detail, but what is important, is THEY LIED....

I waited for over 3 hours.

You think anyone at paragon cares?

Nobody.

I couldn't even obtain an explanation as to where my car was. Sales blaimed service and service did vice-versa

They promise you the world to justify their mistakes, but you cringe at the fact that you would have to return to such a place. That and the fact that you could possibly have your vehicle jeopardized. (scratch and/or scratches, small tears in leather)

Based on my overall experience, I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this dealership to anyone.

Purchasing a car should be an exciting moment in one's life. You save your hard earned money in hopes of purchasing something you'll love. I was so disgusted by this experience that I not only wouldn't recommend PARAGON ACURA, but I wouldn't even recommend purchasing an ACURA.

Dont get me wrong, the vehicle is great, but my acura is a constant reminder of the horrific experience.

If you really want an Acura, take your business to an Acura dealership in Roslyn. You may have some better luck.
