Parkview Legal provides specialized services to improve the credit scores of clients in order to, "qualify for a home, car, seek employment, or whatever their credit desires may be." Nirit Rubenstein went on to describe the the basic business model, as well as the excellent training provided to employees in order to generate great customer service, "they go through a great deal of training and certification [in order to] understand how to help customers improve their credit report and credit score. It’s a very customized approach...the vision is really to help people. This company was founded as a leasing company and in order to get people qualified for leases they realized that a lot of people weren’t able to qualify because of their credit. So we started by helping people for free in order to allow them to get into the lease. When we realized there was a real need in the market place for it, we actually focused on a completely new business on helping customer. The business was founded with the hope of helping people to realize their financial challenges and get beyond where they are today to better themselves for the future.”

Parkview Legal utilizes several different venues to obtain leads for their company. These include both Google searches, as well as referrals from mortgage companies they have developed relationships with. Langston Bryant went on to describe the typical experience a potential client might receive, "our first thing is to find out what’s on the credit report. It’s kind of like a questionnaire for us to find out exactly what is on the report that’s showing up negatively. What are their goals and dreams? What do they want to achieve by doing credit repair? Most of them just want to get things cleaned up, because they are just tired of having it bad. However, we do have campaigns for people that are calling in specifically to get a mortgage, or specifically to get some type of finance done. At that point, once we find out what’s on the credit [report], we can assess whether or not we can help them based on our experience with our past clients. So the most important thing for us, is to get them talking about credit and get them exciting about the possibilities of getting it clean so that they can move forward to the next step." Ms. Rubenstein went on to add, "once they go through that step, they pay $59.95 and that’s a fee for the pulling of the FICO Report and the consultation with the FICO certified analyst. So that’s what that initial $59.95 covers. Then they go along and have a 30 minute to 2 hour conversation with the FICO certified analyst. That’s where they put together a very customized plan on how to tackle every single item on a credit report. From there is goes on to our dispute team to start disputing the claims and creating a case for the customer with our dispute software.”


During the onsite interview the team at Parkview Legal was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Brian Mazzarella went on to describe both the most common complaint as well as a specific situation and resolution, " progress, I would say is a number one issue. That is what people are paying us for, they want to see results. There are a few things that can tamper that really. It can take some time. One of my favorite cases, there was a gentleman that had a bunch of negative items…we have a very aggressive system, we go after up to 45 items each round even sometimes more than that. We also send out multiple rounds with in a month period. We are extremely aggressive and if someone adds a new negative account, we don’t charge extra, we just tack it on. So this one case this gentleman was with us for three months. I can’t remember the exact number, but I want to say like 30 something negative items and we removed five by the three month point. So of course he was upset, we couldn’t talk him through. We knocked his rate down and convinced him to stay. Between that third and six month, he was 100% removed. His score jumped up...roughly 120 points. So a lot of times it is just the persistence that pays off." Ms. Rubenstein also brought up the fact that some client complaints arise from the misunderstanding of fees. While the arrangement of fees is clearly communicated to the client several times Parkview Legal is always willing to work with their clients, "if you are not happy with our service we are happy to guarantee our service, and give you back your money.”

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Mazzarella went on to describe the specific situation in question, "it was a couple's joint account and they were complaining that they were listening to us but their score was still dropping. I remember that particular situation, we actually had some pretty decent results. I know we gave them a full refund for their complaint ...on top of that, they had student loans she wasn’t paying them. So new late dates plus the interest and that’s why their score wasn’t improving... a lot of the scam complaints are unfounded." Mr. Mazzarella went on to describe the high standard of work as well was accreditations that they have achieved, "I went through our stats, we do a really great job getting accounts removed, and we have a six month guarantee refund. If we make zero deletions or repairs by the six month point, you are entitled to all your money back...a full refund. Sometimes when we only have one removed, we will offer a free month going forward or something like that. We do try to make our customers happy to show we are committed to service and doing our job. We are not a scam. We are accredited with the United Stated Association of Accredited Business, the USAAB and we are working on a BBB accreditation right now. We also have pretty strict compliance rules. We have a gentleman that monitors the phone calls on all levels to make sure clients aren’t misled." Mr. Mazzarella explained that the integrity of their employees towards clients is a key element to their business and if that integrity is in anyway compromised, "they are punished suspended or even let go. It happens, any company is going to have a few bad apples, and you have to deal with them properly. If we do come across where a customer was misinformed, we will offer discounts, free months. We want to make sure they are taken care of. I am really proud of what we do here. We have a great track record and great testimonials. I have over 100 recordings of clients ...these are people who are happy enough to lend their voices to recording. Over a 100 just of recording of people who got homes, got cars, said we did a great job. These are real people. If you listen to them, they are clearly not actors. They are people who put their faith in us and rewarded them. That’s why we like to spread the word about what we do here.”

When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to make things right with the customer per the request of Ripoff Report, Mr. Bryant stated, "Compliance. A lot of it is just making sure on our end that we are above board with the information we give to clients and we don’t mislead them in anyway. Making sure that when we monitor our representatives on our side, that they are doing the job correctly." Ms. Rubenstein elaborated, "If you look at the way our company is structured, more than 50% of our head count comes from operations, disputes and customer service. So if that gives any indication, we spend much more time and resources and money on back end ensuring we do things properly than on acquiring customers and getting them in the door. To us the best source of new customers is existing customers. Anything we can do to create a good customer experience is extremely important to us.”

When a business joins the Corporate Advocacy Program, Ripoff Report emails everyone from the past so the member business can make things right with them. Of course, everything within reason. In order to confirm that the complaints were resolved, Ripoff Report is copied on all responses so we can insure that the member business did right by their customer. Sadly, the author of the complaint below was unreasonable and didn’t allow Park View Legal the opportunity to make things right with them within reason.


This customers score had a poor debt/credit ratio. Although we were able to remove items from her report, her student loans took her well over 130% of her debt/credit ratio. Despite our efforts of removing 20 items, this ratio prohibited a measurable increase in her score. We had around 20 deletions on her behalf.



My wife & I were contacted by Christy Manou representing herself as an attorney.... her firm was Parkview Law.

turns out she's not an attorney or is Parkview Law an attorney's office. In later E-mails they referred themselves as Parkview Legal.  In order to get started she claimed the did things much differently than there competition... She bragged of a high succese rate... 100% money back garentee... As well as they work from retainer alone. Well thus far all of these items have been WRONG!!!


My wife & I have uthorized only 2 debuts to our bank cards. 

Turns out they authorized themselves 2X a month transactions as well as a few more along the way... TOTAL THUS FAR $1909.57


My wife & I have requested a refund several times in the last several days.

We have been told no several times.

My wife & I have been under contract & agreement since Aug 20 2013 for credit repair. 

As of 06 Nov 2013 at 12:51pm My credit was pulled by the big three reporting agencies... for a morgage... There were NO ENTRIES for challenging my & my wife's reports to correct errors. NOT ONE ITEM CHALLENGED!!! The company refused to acknowlege an issue and refuses a refund!!!

BEWARE RUN IF THEY CaLL YOU!!! It's the scam of all scammes!!!

I also dealt with Christine and I have to say to date I am happy with the service. I could have done this myself but I DO NOT have the time to deal with this tedious project.  No, I am not an employee or affiliated in anyway as I live in Virginia! We are on our second round of letters. We started off with 15 derogatories on each credit report......

To me that says quite a bit. to this report if you and your wife both are paying for the service OF COURSE you are going to get charged twice a month. They are working on both your reports aren't they? Read through your contract if you think they are completely in the wrong and show them the proof they are in the wrong. Christine stated to me and I already knew this was not going to be a quick process it was going to take some time.

I was scammed and filed a report too...

I filed a ripoffreport against parkview too.  There is no doubt the salesman that scammed me swore up and down that they were not like and among other things did not charge a 89./mo recurring fee.  I can only hope and pray they have not found a way to f* up my bank account.  I have already had to change my account number just in case.  They told me several different lies all to get the initial $60. fee.  There were three diferent lies, first about the recurring fee which is the same as their competitors, second about the main fee to be paid on installments but which only carriesws you 60 days which they lied about claiming it was one time and third was the amount of the fees and how long they would take to begin work.  Everything they told me turned out to be a lie, actually they are the biggest liars Ive ever encountered.  Scoresense was BAD however they manned up and refunded everypenny they stole from me.  Parkview Legal on the other hand would even respond. I imagine they pend their days jokking about all the pissed off powerless customers calling to complain.  Considering they took my money via a VISA card that this is a federal credit card crime and they are working to bilk people in bulk...ready to take the money and run when the FBI closes in.  You would think honesty would be enough for them to earn a living but unfortunately this is an age of identity theft and online fraud.  I suspect they care so little about their customers they would resell their data to anyone intereswted in stealing too.  If you have worked with them be affraid, cancel your accounts and hope for the best.  They are hardcore about saying anything to get your money and never giving it back when confronted with complaints.  Liars, thieves, and con men.  Unfortunately the world is full of them.

The many glowing recomendations... Don't be fooled they are same individuals writen about originally!!! They are a rip off!!! Plus low class enough to break the same confidentiality agreement they enter in too... Go figure... Theft by deceptions not the only trick up there sleeve... So is charictor assenation... Go figure... Gravy train runs dry... Thier work questioned.... No problem... We will see what witty things they have to say to the Indiana State Police after our last conversation with their detectives... I'm sure it be... Referring to ther attorney... No problem

Parkview did an Awesome Job for ME!

 I recently used Parkview Legal...they got 18 plus derogatory items deleted from my credit report. They raised my scores over 100 points. total cost about $800 bucks.....very reasonable very good work. I would recommend them to anybody. I do not work for them, no one in Family works for them we are in no way affiliated to Parkview.

I was actually just looking for the link for a friend to refer them to Park View Law, and, out of curiousity I decided to take a visit on here and see what was going on with the company working on my credit score. I am appalled.


What is Shannon talking about?!


I run a small business in E-commerce so I understand how important your business reputation can be. This whole post from Shannon is irrevelant and laughable. I've had my share of silly customers as well.  I joined Park View Law in October of last year with a pile of past blemishes. My business took a sharp dive in 08'-09' causing me to go delinquent on my loans and default on very important lines of credit. I went from a 762 to a 591 overnight.  It was painful,  but that is all past me now. I hired Christine to take care of my credit for me because frankly, I don't have the time to do this by myself.  Within just 4 months, I knew she had been a blessing to myself and my family. I can't thank her enough.  She set very realistic goals, helped me regain credit for my business needs and pulled me from the bottomless pit. My score is now back to a 713 which is not too shabby. This is one of the few companies that I've ever dealt with that actually cared personally about my situation. They are always there, no automated machines or brush offs, just real genuine hard working people. I WILL ALWAYS refer my family and friends to Park View and have them deal with Christine directly. 


To sum it up, thank you Christine, you have been wonderful and obviously some people just need to hold themselves accountable for their own mistakes.

Real Facts from Company

The facts for which this customer is claiming are false.  Here is the breakdown of their enrollment process:

Shannon Clawson enrolled into dispute services on August 20th, 2013 agreeing to all the service policies and guarantees.  A copy of this signed agreement was provided to the customer at enrollment. We have a five day cancellation period as well that allows all customers who choose to cancel the agreement within five days of enrolling to receive a 100% refund and full cancellation.  This customer did not choose to cancel within the five day period and thus fully enrolled into the dispute service.  After two months of working with the company, Shannon decided to enroll his wife, Patricia Clawson, into the program on October 18th, 2013.  Patricia also agreed to the service contract and passed the initial five day cancellation period upon enrolling.  All of our customers agree to the results based guarantee at sign up which protects all clients that the company achieves results within the first six month service period or the customer is refunded all fees and ends service.

Dispute totals:

Shannon started with us with an extreme case but we were confident we could achieve results within the six month time frame. He came to us with over 46 collection accounts, 17 negative paid accounts, and 4 public records including an unpaid tax lien and two unpaid judgments. 

Patricia also had a very difficult case with over 27 unpaid collection accounts totaling over $25,000 in unpaid debt, 4 90 day late payment accounts, two tax liens, and one unpaid judgment. 

Total debt customers were issuing company to dispute totaled over $150,000 on unpaid items.

Complete Pay history:

Shannon enrolled into services paying $450.00 after the initial work was completed on his file the first two months of enrollment.  He then was charged a monthly fee of $89.99 on 10/31/13 for services completed the previous month.

Patricia enrolled later on paying her first fee of $250.0 and cancelling before the monthly fee took place at month four.  Total charges for two files add up to $789.99

The company abided by all aspects of the customer agreement and handled all of the customer support requests in accordance to company policy.  The customers were not approved for a refund of service fees since the company performed all agreed upon work on both cases and the customers have yet to reach the six month time frame for results.  The company is willing however to reinstate both of these cases at a discounted rate should the customers decided to continue fixing their credit issues.
