I noticed charges of $14.95 hitting my credit card, but was not sure where they were coming from. I didn't remember signing up for "Passport to Fun" or "Shopping Essentials". So I "googled" them and found it mentioned here by other people.

I called my bank to see about how to go about stopping these charges. The bank assistant gave me the toll-free number for both companies, told me to call them and tell them to cancel my subsription/membership immediately and that I also wanted all monies refunded. These membership were supposedly offered to me when placing an order through Vista Prints. It was attached to the "$10 rebate" button at the end of the ordering process.

Anyway, Leland (employee # 25225) cancelled my membership for Passport to Fun, and was going to process my refund, but only for the most recent charges (Jan). I told him that I wanted the refund for all monies charged to my account going back to the beginning (Oct). He had to get approval from his Supervisor, who did agree. I was then told that I should see my refund in 2 business days.

We will see. If my refund is not there, the bank instructed me to start the fraud process through them.

Leland then asked if there was anything else he could help me with, and I told him "only if you're affiliated with "Shopping Essentials". He said they are, and so I had him cancel that membership, and process a complete refund for the 4 months of charges ($14.95). Again, he had to get approval from his supervisor. It was approved. But again, I will have to wait until next week to see if they keep their word and refund my $119.60.
