in April 2004, my husband had an idea and he invented it. We called PTI, and we signed with them, we took out a second mortgage on our home to send them 10,000.00, to get the ball rolling. We followed each and individual step they asked us to do, we spoke with our consultant numerous times. We even had contact (mail) with the attorney they provided to us, we did everything he asked us to do and sign. We even opened up an account on line on their website, that expalined his idea.We received postings of the trade shows that were showing his idea.
Then all of a sudden he got letters from PTI, that there were 4 major companies that were interested in his idea. We followed each step that they provided us with, incase this happens. After each step was followed, we received a letter from one of the companies, and it clearly said that they were never ever ever interested in our idea.
As soon as I saw that, we called and spoke with a man from PTI, he asked us to fax him that letter, we did. Now after 1 1/2 years I tried to call and speak to our consultant, after I saw that their website was no longer available, and either was PTI. I called our consultant, and he said that their website has crashed, and it will take some time to get it up and running, he promised to call or have someone from our support team call my husband by 1/18/2007, it has now been a week and nothing, no call, no email no nothing. I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the New York Attorney Generals Office.
