Payless Appliances BEWARE: I WAS RIPPED OFF BY PAYLESS APPLIANCES !!! Mesa , Arizona

I purchased a used GE Profile refrigerator from this company on Sept. 9th, 2012.  Less than 2 weeks later, the freezer froze up on me and the refrigerator stopped cooling. I called the store to explain that it had been less than 3 weeks since I made my purchase. The manager told me that this was a consignment store and that there was no exchange/refund services. I explained to her that I purchased this product in good faith from their store less than 3 weeks ago for over $300 and was assured it was in good working order.

She told me to unplug the unit and let it defrost and then plug it back in, I did this and now the refrigerator is dead. I have called the store numerous times only to be put off and told someone would call me back, no one has. This is a RIP OFF and I would like to warn everyone about NOT purchasing anything from them. You have no protection and this company obviously does NOT care about making the customer happy or they would have offered to do something for me. I begged them to exchange the refrigerator for even a cheaper model yet I was still ignored. In today's economy, we work entirely too hard for our money to just throw it away.
