I tried to upgrade my Adobe PDF reader and without realising ended up purchasing something from Interactive Brands. The website stated the cost but when my credit card statment came in I found that they had added another product to the order.

I got an email a couple of days later to say that they had issues with the log on procedure and I would be notified as soon as it was sorted.  No email.

Eventually I got through to someone on their support team who told me I should have received an email with my log on details. When I said I had not he resent it.

I carried out the procedure as described in the email and not surprisingly the access codes given did not work. I have been trying since last week to get hold of someone. I have sent over 15 emails to the company either directly from my email or through their support system.  No response.

Today I called a number of times recieving the recorded message to say they were experiencing a high call volume and the wait time was over 30 minutes. I am not prepared to sit on a phone for over 30 minutes at my expense for them to sort out their errors.

I tried their phone number in Canada to be told by the receptionist that she could only put me through to the Support line. I told her I was not going to wait 30 mins for a call to be answered but she put me through there anyway. I called again and twice the receptionist put the phone down on me and twice more she put me through to the Support line. When I eventually got her to listen I was told that she had no numbers for anyone in the offices and she put me through to Support again.

Given that you cannot get hold of anyone either by email or by phone this company is obviously a huge scam.

I am taking legal advice and intend to sue them for fraud.
