Did not allow me to transfer my diploma credits in August 2009 into the associate degree program. They have on file I started August 25, 2010, but they didn't send my books or allow me to login to start classes until February 6th, 2011, the same date in 2016 I completed what I thought was my associate degree. The paperwork I signed from what they state was for only 1 semester and cost $984.00, which is not what I initially signed up for in August or September 2009. The associate degree course was to total $984.00, not per semester as they changed to without my knowledge in August 2010. After completing what I thought was my associate degrees from February 6th, 2011 - the same date in 2012 I never received my degree or the two free elective courses of Certified Ethical Hacker and Music Appreciation, so I asked for the difference of the $684.00 for the diploma course from 2008-2009, since credits were transferred into the associate degree program which cost $984.00 total & the difference of $684.00 was not refunded after they told me that they were changing the program in 2011 & that once I paid off the $984.00 it would be applied in 2012 towards their new bachelor's degree program which the total cost was $984.00 then. Now they tell me I only completed two semesters towards my associate degree, but I called today and they say I only completed one semester when their advertisement via internet & TV stated the associate degree course only cost $984.00 fully to receive the degree. In 2014 I was told that I needed to pay $57.00 to re the program for the associate degree credits to transfer to their bachelor's program, so I sent a U.S. Postal Money order, and never was sent by mail my study materials. I was told the course was totally online now for students they felt didn't need books whom already trained with Penn Foster. I asked for a refund again, which I never received , so I tried logging into class for months before allowed to & had issues being able to see the coursework. I asked for a refund again, and was denied and told about their 30 day return policy & that if I didn't finish my training by August 15th, 2015 that I would have to start the entire course again to receive my associates degree, which told me that they lied the entire time in advertising via internet & TV, also that the were falsifying information on signed agreements to a $984.00 per semester fee as if they were an highly accredited college or university. I told them today, after trying to get transcripts transfered again since December 16th, 2016 that if I knew that the associate degree(4 semesters) was $984.00 per semester and not the total cost I would have never enrolled at Penn Foster and would have attended a brick and mortar University on campus with a dormroom or online, or did it online with a community college!
