I am the owner of Black Lexus SC 400 which I have purchased on 04/18/2002 from Penn Toyota in Greenvale,NY. I have been a customer of Prestige Lexus auto dialer ship for over then 5 years, and I have never had such Rip-Offs and inconveniences like this.

The cost of my car and the Total Sale Price are way too different. All Penn Toyota Sale papers are not clear. There is no way to figure out what payment for what service, since all numbers are shifted. No one from Penn Toyota Sales department was be able to answer my questions regarding this sale. I had left family-owned dialer ship not satisfied and offended.

SC 400 Lexus $19.500
Tax $1155
Registration - $250-------???
Inspection Fee - $35
Dealers Fee - $20
Finance charge (36m) 3102.12
Total - $24062.12
Deposit $1000

Total Sale Price including down-payment have to be $23062.12
Total Sale Price including down-payment by Penn Toyota $23812.12
Difference of -$750 ????????

While I was signing documents, they told me that I don't have to pay Registration fee. Later it was included into my bill.

It was very sad to find out, that Cargo Mat is missing. It was there when I have bout the SC on 04/18/2002. The coast of Cargo Mat is $150.

Before I agreed to by car and signed all papers I had a dial with Robert D.Penn (Vice President, Penn Toyota)to make 60.000-mile service on Lexus. It was not done!!!

I have find out that Power Steering fluid and Fan fluid has been never changed. All other 60.000 mile service such as: New Plugs, Transmission Service and Timing Belt Service don't even have invoice records.

They claim that they have change brake rear rotors. Later I have found that it's not true. All rear rotors have been resurfaced and are very thin and not reliable.

They had put new Brake Pads into my car. Brake Pads have the wrong size and even not designed for this car. When I push the brakes, it sounds like I drove over a farm pig.

They have take of original Lexus battery (coast of more then $80) and exchange it with $20 chip small battery.

I was not being able to get clear answers on this matter from Penn Toyota. In fact I was calling theme five times, and NO ONE wore be able to help me. I had left massages, but NO ONE ever gets back to me. I had written Emails, but no answer. Tree weeks path and no results. I am going to file a clime.

Penn Toyota is a family corrupted business. As I have find out, I am not alone, who have been rip-off by Penn Toyota this way. They make bad reputation for Toyota Company by ripping off Toyota customers. That is a shame!!

why did you not return to the delaership

Hello... I am an employee of Penn Toyota in Greenvale, NY. I have not the above customer - but I must make you aware of what is called "used car policy" which means .. if there a problem with your used car you purchase within 3 months or 3,000 miles, you can come back to the dealership to have repairsm ade to your car at no charge.... In order for a car ot pass NY sate inspection - the brakesd must be checked. If you are having all these problems - why did you not return to the delaership to have them checked out.
I personally believe this a customer who is either unahppy with their purchase or just cannot afford the vehicle...
.
PS.. in the future if you are going to make a complaint - please type in proper english... it would make your story more believable - which it is not....

Never had a problem

My wife and I have been customers of Penn Toyota for over 20 years. We have bought both new and used cars from them and have sent many people there including parents, aunts, in-laws, neices as well as our own daughter.

While I will agree they ae not the cheapest dealer around, I have never had a problem with them.

Mr. Penn (Bob) is extremely concerned that each one of his customers has a positive experience.

I live in Westchester County and drive over 40 miles to the dealership.

I think this customer has a bigger problem than he is owning up to. I know if there was something Penn Toyota could do to fix his problem they would.
