i purchased toyota corolla for $19,500.88. i put down $5,000. the now fired finance manager wrote up the amount to be financed as $15,746.23 instead of $14,500.88, an overcharge of $1,245.35.

i have made numerous trips to penn toyota. i received a partial reimbursement of $607.92.

i have called raymond bell, the sales manager, and lori guigliano, the public relations manager over and over again and they will not return my calls.

the salesman who sold me the car was fired after only 2 weeks of employment. i am not surprised. he knew nothing about the car and had to keep calling other salesmen over. the process tok twice as long as it should have.

the finance manager, daniel baonzino, has either left or been terminated. this after scamming me of $1,245.35.

toyota national headquarters cannot do anything as each dealership is individually owned. therefore, there is no help to be found.

i now have filed a report with the better business bureau and plan to take them to small claims court for the balance of $637.43 they owe me.

if you do not want tons of aggravation and be ripped off, do not buy any car from penn toyota.

Did you sign a contract that had the higher amount?   Finance departments specialize in telling you one amount and having you sign a contract for a higher amount.  If you signed, it's unlikely that you'll win in small claims, as the contract takes precedence over anything verbal.   If you signed a contract for a lower amount and they changed it later, you should have an easy time in court.

  Good luck.
