Pennsylvania Gas and Electric bait and switch policy of electric rates Harrisburg Pennsylvania

Pa gas and electric is up to their same old tricks.  I received my January bill and they had increased their rates 120% over the previous months.  Give me a break.  For the same time period PENELEC rate was 130%lower.  At the same time PG&E's  introductory rate for January was .0689.  My January rate was .2018. The January penelec rate was .079  Maybe I'm just not smart enough to understand this. To compound the offence, they have the absolute worst customer service. You wait at least an hour to get a hold of someone (who usually sounds like they are 14 years old) and then your call gets mysteriously dropped.  this happened three times today. Forget about talking to a supervisor.  They have been pulling this bait and switch scam in NJ and Conn. to name afew states.

  There may be no law against the way that this company practices, but it is certainly immoral to take advantage of people this way.  I am not the first person  to complain about the questionable practices of this company, and certainly won't be the last.

  I suppose that the best that can be hoped for is to expose their practices to the bright light of public forum, and expose them for what they are:  unscrupulous, predatory vermin.
