Having stumbled across this company, who give no indication of their physical whereabouts on their web page, I foolishly ordered a pair of Ecco golf shoes from them.

The money was promptly withdrawn from my bank account and I received an email conforming the order and promising prompt delivery. This at least proved to be the case. A pair of shoes were delivered within seven working days, to my surprise and delight.

Upon opening the package however my delight turned to bewilderment. I had been sent a pair of golf shoes which were not Ecco, but instead purported to be Adidas. A cursory examination of the product revealed that these shoes weren't Adidas either. Although they did carry some Adidas branding they failed display everything one might expect to find on a Adidas product.

I immediately notified the company that they had sent me the wrong shoes. Their reply, although apologetic, raised more concerns for me than answered questions. I pointed out that the shoes they had sent were not only not what I had ordered but were a fake product in any case. At this point a denial might have been expected, what I was invited to do was send photos of the shoes they had sent and images of the shoes I wanted so that their manufaturer could make things right.

I replied explaining that I did not want fake shoes of any description and I demanded my money back. The company were initially evasive and I sent a number of emails explaining statutory consumer rights and so on. Eventually the company agreed to refund my money and asked me to return the fake Adidas shoes. I told them by return that when the money was refunded I would despatch the shoes.

And that is where this story ends - they have failed to refund my money and I am apparently stuck with a pair of fake plastic Adidas golf shoes.
