I purchased the photo blocker spray to protect my license against photo radar that was recently installed on the 101 in Scottsdale Arizona. During the probation period of the photo radar tests, I decided to see if the product worked as claimed - IT DID NOT.

My proof that it did not work is that 15 days later I received a citation warning me of my speed and correctly identified my license plate number.

I contacted the PhantomPlate seven times, and did not once receive any communication back in regards to a refund. When I called to inquire about a refund, I was placed on hold and never responded too. Finally I gave up after numerous attempts to contact PhantomPlate.com

If you are considering purchasing ANYTHING from PhantomPlate.com, DON'T DO IT. Not only does their product not work, their customer service and business practices are unethical and fail to provide any promises they make on their web site.

DO NOT PURCHASE PHOTO BLOCKER SPRAY FROM PHANTOMPLATE.COM -- IT DOES NOT WORK!

Don't Ease the Gas

AUTHOR: Harlowe Thrombey - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, June 25, 2013

Traffic speeds in most cities are a political and not a scientific decision.  Slow, stupid, hesitant drivers are oftentimes a far bigger danger than those who speed.  When a law disrespects intelligence, then intelligence will disrespect such law.

Phantom Spray is fraud

AUTHOR: Roger - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 29, 2009

I used this spray on my car and yesterday got a ticket from red Light Camera system. They sent me the actual picture of my license plate. So much for blocking my plate. I used the spray as directed. I would like a refund but doubt if I will ever get it. This ticket cost me $100.
DON'T BUY THIS FRAUD PRODUCT.

I couldn't believe it.. talk about Big Brother! Photos of your car speeding! That is just wrong.

This is my solution. If you get a ticket in the mail with a photo of your license plate, send them a picture of the money to pay the fine!

A photoblocker Distributor in Canada

AUTHOR: Marcie - (Canada)

POSTED: Sunday, March 05, 2006

I run a site in Canada and have sold many cans online and at car shows, if there was NO flash used then Photoblocker wont work, if your plates are dirty photoblocker wont work that well. We make it clear that Photoblocker is extra protection against a ticket.

We were featured in The National Post and twice and The Calgary Herald. Every major news station has done a story on it.

Tips: remove what is on your plate now with acetone,
Clean your plate well with water and IVORY soap there is no residue with ivory soap (makes sure that ALL soap is off the plate, dry it with a lint free cloth,
spray about 5-6 med. coats on letting each coat dry about 15 min. the last coat leave for 2h to dry. Place it back on your car and keep you plates clean, (don't use gas station squeegees to clean your plate because there is washer fluid mixed in)

If you want to avoid tickets with cameras that don't use flash then get the covers. we are NOT Phantomplate but sell their spray.

Ease off the gas!!

AUTHOR: Scott - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 22, 2006

The simple solution to this is to follow the posted speed limit.

You purchased a product to tamper with your license plate so that you could try to get away with other illegal activity.

If you are not happy with the posted speed limit, contact your local or state authorities and voice your opinion.

You are lucky..

AUTHOR: Eric - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 21, 2006

You are lucky you didn't have to pay more for illegal tampering with your license plate. Using sprays like that are illegal in most, if not, all states.
