Okay,I have purchased the used Japanese Comprehensive1 & used Japanese Comprehensive2 courses on CD(30 lessons on each)-with great success,and also downloaded the users manual/reading booklets for free off the internet for additional support and to learn cultural facts about the Japanese language and customs/culture.

However,something did not go right when I happened to order the used Japanese Comprehensive3 course on CD.I never got this one!I ordered this online from PimsleurMarketplace .com,back on July 26,2014(the actual date that the money was removed from my account was: July 28,2014).I have documentation of this-I made a copy of the completed order,and filled in important facts to supplement the order(the companies address,when I recived the second course,company phone number,work hours,etc.).

Anyway,it is going on 3 months after the order cleared,and I have received NOTHING.No email as to when I will get this,etc.I have made numerous calls to their support line phone number.Here's the scenario:the phone is answered by a recording,and they immediately put you on hold,after about 30 seconds another recording comes on and says:"because of the volume of calls we are getting,please leave your name number and a brief message,about the service you need,and we will respond as quickly as we can,etc." They also add: for faster service send us an email.

I have tried calling many times and leaving messages,giving my order number,date of the purchase etc.,and I have heard nothing.I have even sent a picture of my Completed Order-in text message form(from time to time-to supplement my calls),with dates and the order number,course purchased,etc.,to no avail.

The scariest part of all of this(besides getting ripped off by the man),is that when is when I try to log-in to my account at PimsleurMarketplace.com(as I have done at least twice and probably more-trying to get updates on the status of my orders),my (former)password is rejected as not being a valid one!!!!This is totally bogus,since I used this same password to log-on to make my other purchases(Used Japanese Comprehensive Courses 1 and 2).

My next move will be to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.Thank You for at least allowing me to tell someone out there about how these people are doing bad business,and getting away with it.

Finally,let me ad this:since this course was not available at the time I ordered it(July 26,2014),they gave me this information:

0-4 week wait on this course,and

0 customers ahead of you.

OK-I finally received the Used Comprehensive Japanese 3 on CD,within the last last couple of weeks/month or so.

All is good. It took long enough, but they (Doug Hall/Pimsleur Marketplace et all), finally completed this order and their responsibility to me-(Order ID 52573).I just wanted to set the record straight.

I did send Doug Hall off an email thanking him for his service-even though it took as long as it did.

I did suggest to him,that his company be more realistic when specifying the particular "waiting time" for a certain package deal, so maybe he will reassess that part of future orders to his prospective customers.

I would say to anyone ordering these used courses on CD to be patient, and if they are not ready to wait for them, to buy the new ones!

STILL NOTHING FROM DOUG HALL-THE HEAD OF ELITE COMMERCE

OK-Here it is in a nutshell.I contacted Doug Hall(the President or CEO of Elite Commerce),and he actually sent me an email reply,staing that the reason I didn't get my used comprehensive japanese 3 course(after 3 months),was because nobody had sold one back to them(i.e.-buybacks).

He then stated in this email,would I like to either: 1)wait till he received one-then he would send it,2)cancel the order and get a refund,or 3)upgrade to a New One,and pay the difference.

I sent him back the response:"Doug,please just send the money back,because I had found another site that had it currently for a comparable price,and I could obtain it right away."I even asked him if he needed my checking account number androuting number,and that if he needed these to let me know and I would send them to him in another email.I even thanked him for helping me,but I guess he is too busy to take time out from his busy day,to actually HELP A CASH PAYING CUSTOMER.

I got nothing.

I did try to call him at the number he gave me with his email,and guess what number it was?You got it-the recording for Pimsleur Marketplace-you know the one where they tell you to leave a message,(and I did-stating what I just wrote again in the above paragraph!)This is also the number where they tell you to send an email to get a faster esponse,so I guess this is what I will try next for the um-teenth time.

My advice? DO NOT BUY PIMSLEUR MARKETPLACE used comprehensive courses on CD!Especially,if you are to wait for one,because they are waiting for it also(even though,they originally told me that the wait would be 0-4 weeks,and that there were 0 customers ahead of you waiting for this item.

Remember-this could be YOU,the next victim of PIMSLEUR MARKETPLACE/ELITE COMMERCE.If you want their courses buy them somewhere else.

Not very good public relations in my humble opinion.

I have the email verification in my computer of this,as well as my original order from these people,that was smart enough to make a copy of.
