I called and talked to a Becky to solve an issue with a collection on my daughter. I was trying to explain to the lady that I had already paid the bill for my daughter. She started talking over me so I raised my voice. She started screaming and I said don't yell at me she said you started yelling at me first. I said I raised my voice because you were talking over me d**n it. She said don't swear to me and I said I am not. She said you did to you called me an AHOLE. I said I don't even use that word and did not call you that. I asked to talk to her supervisor. She said I am the supervisor and do not call back here unless you plan on paying your bill. Then she slammed down the phone. Would you call back to this person ever? I won't.....
I was so upset that I called the company that I had paid the bill to. The gentleman told me to take a moment to calm down. I was crying and was having a hard time talking to him. I have some medical problems that this just added too. It caused a setback in my recovery. No one should ever be treated like this.

collections paid by my daughter

I have evidence of the amount that I paid and that it was paid on the same date. I have tried to talk to them again and they will not accept my proof of the payments and will not talk to me as the bill is in my daughter's name.
The proof that I have is the two payments made from my bank on different dates and were accepted. Plus the first payment that I had made from paypal that they never picked up for 30 days so it was credited back to my account. This was on the same date that the first payment thru my bank.
I also have a letter that was sent from the time share of the payments that they have received two payments of $210 on 3/12/2013 and another payment of $575 on 5/6/2013 thru my bank.
The total that was due was $570 dollars. I sent from my bank $365 on 3/4/2013 and from paypal bill me later $205 on 3/4/2013. Then since the paypal amount was credited back to my account 30 days after I had paid it. Well my social security check came before that and was spent on bills, so I had to wait for my May check which comes the 3rd Wednesday of the month before I could send the money again. Which I now know that the cut off date was in April or it would be sent to collections.
My daughter did pay the collection agency but that should not have had to be done. We will be getting the credit reports and will be getting this taken off her credit report. I guess they got a hundred dollars for being a bully. I guess collection agencies are above any rules or laws. So glad that I am getting older and won't be around that much longer so will not have to go through this again.

Do you have evidence?

You said you have paid the bill for your daughter, do you have a receipt or checks to prove that you have paid the bill? If so, you need to take a deep breath and call them again. This time tell them you have the evidence that you have paid the bill and ask for their fax number / email (if you can scan) in order to send your evidence. You do not need to try to explain what happened as long as you have the evidence. Once they get the evidence, you will need to contact all 3 credit bureaus to remove the collection record.
PS: You need to teach your daughter not to let the bill go this long. She should be the one who deals with the issue, not you. I hope your daughter would not get out easily or she WILL do it again because she knows that YOU will try to get her out of the trouble. This will teach your daughter nothing...

Sounds Like What I went through Yesterday at Walmart
AUTHOR: ATR - ()
SUBMITTED: Saturday, July 27, 2013
Yesterday I went to the Walmart located at 9500 Clifford Road in Fort Worth and after shopping needed to use the courtesy phone. The white lady behind the counter was so rude and started loudly complaining it was "for business" even though the manager had told me I could use it. She even interrupted my call. Up steps a white fellow behind me and he used it and she said not a word.
I asked for the manager and up walks the Asst. Manager Saprina Garcia who was herself rude. Acted like she didn't care. I asked for the market team manager and at first she lied like they didn't have one, then when I pressed her on it claimed to not have his number and started telling me to call 1-800-Walmart. That number gets a person nowhere. It's just an automated system and I use to work at Walmart and knew they had to give out the market team managers number when requested. I asked to speak to someone else and she grew irate and told me she didn't like my tone. Then she said she would throw me out the store because she didn't like my "tone". She then said "Look just call 1-800 walmart." and I was upset and said " I don't want to call that d**n number" and that was her excuse to freak out and start yelling for security who ran up and demanded I suddenly leave the store. I then told security and her that I wanted the money back for my purchases I had just purchased and she said "Well, we were going to help you but not now" and then she suddenly started demanding the guy call the police.
I was forced out the store with my groceries. She handled the situation very poorly.
I was so frustrated I mistakenly left my purse in my basket. Security followed me outside like I was going to hurt someone all for using the word "d**n". I was almost home when I realized I had left my purse in the basket. I called back up to the store and asked if security could go out and get my purse. It had my credit cards, my money, my social security card, my id, EVERYTHING in it. The woman who answered the phone said "It's not our fault you left your purse and our security is not going to do that for you". She could have cared less. By this time I'm flying up the expressway frantic to get to my purse.
Finally I made it and someone had taken my purse to the customer service desk.
The entire experience has shocked me. This store has to be the WORST walmart EVER.
When I finally made it home and called I spoke to a different manager named Barbara who was entirely different. She listened. She said she didn't know why my items weren't returned as I had not left the store, I had just bought them and had my receipt in my hand. She also stated she did not know why Saprina Garcia didn't give me the number to the market team manager as they had one. Even the security guard the day before told me they had one when he walked me outside. He too was confused as to why the number wasn't given out.
This particular walmart also was very expensive and with the poor customer service I can't imagine why people go there.
