agent represented himself as an agent of ADT security and stated that my contract with ADT was due to expire and the equipment was outdated and needed to be replaced. I signed an agreement for automatic withdrawel from my bank account before realizing that I may be the victem of a scam .I am 87 yaers old and partialy disabled and need to find some relief from this scam

Unfortunate Circumstance because of Shady Salesmen

I am truly sorry for your circumstance. Pinnacle Security has a pervasive taint of crooked sales reps that lie due to the incessant pressure the company puts on them (Money! Money! Money!). Moreover, Pinnacle Security covers their angles, but we must see past this charade. Simplistically, they have rules and statutes--a code-of-conduct--in their books; however, they do absolutely nothing to follow up on those statutes to ensure the rules stick. They only correct the anomalies (if they find out) AFTER the problem has occurred. What does this tell you? They are willing to let their sales people do ANYTHING for the bottom line; their revocation of such reprehensible conduct should be preemptively prevented by hands on corporate leadership in the area of proper conduct. A welcome call is also insufficient, albeit helpful in some cases the welcome calls are being preformed by the SALES REPS. Let me ask: Did you receive a welcome call? Did the rep tell you he was going to cancel your ADT service?

Pinnacle Security's rebuttals are usually static. Inequitably, they assume an apologetic position, but they are wholly at fault for not controlling their offices and supervising what is taught to the sales reps--their since of order is a debacle. They will state that ADT has more complaints than their company. Put this into perspective: ADT has quadrupled Pinnacle Security's sales and MORE. Trusting a company that has a steady customer base over a fly-by night, door-to-door company is the proper course for anyone looking to maintain proper safety of their livelihood.

I hope you are able to get this situation rectified promptly.
