I placed an order online 8/1/06 within minutes of doing this, the store called saying they no longer deliver to our address.
The order was paid using a Visa Check Card, and the debit was immediately charged to the bank account. This debit was placed on the account within 3 minutes after order placement.
Calling the store back, the manager "John" (refused to give last name) over talked my husband, who was calling to get a debit reversal. John hung up without knowing the reason for the call; he persisted to advise him of the new delivery area.
Calling the Corporate office we were told that someone "will get back to us within 3 days". THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
My husband ended up driving to the store to retrieve the debit reversal. Amazingly, the receipt is dated and time stamped for the exact same time as the order.
I can understand that at the high price of gas, delivery area can and most likely has been reduced.
The issues also remaining are that the web site did not reflect this change. I have been ordering from that store for well over 5 years. Secondly, the store manager (all of about 20 years old) should have proper training on how to speak to customers and how to manage a business.
Well it has been over 3 hours with no credits pending in the bank account. I am anticipating this may take days or even weeks to resolve.
Lesson learned, NEVER order from Pizza Hut online again!

it takes 2-7 days to get a credit reversal. stop being impatience. it will be there and if the store voided the sale, you need to call your bank to get the credit.

It's easier online

It's so much easier ordering a pizza online. You don't have to deal with some nitwit on the other end of the line who would rather chat with their co-workers than take you order, you get better accuracy since you can print out what you ordered, and you don't have to repeat yourself 20 times to the other person when giving your address.
As for the O.P. that is complete B.S. on the stores part that they refused to give you a debit reversal. Their site should have popped up that you are not in their delivery area anymore. My suggestion is finding a smaller local pizza company. The prices are pretty comparable, and the pizza is a lot better.

Why Online?

I don't understand why you would go to Pizza Hut's website to order? Wouldn't it be easier to simply call them to place an order?
