Pizza Hut employee ripoff; not paid for all hours worked; shorted on checks Wentzville Missouri

I was working for Pizza Hut in Wentzville, Mo for about 3 months. I was forced to quit my job because I couldn't pay for the gas used for deliveries.

Our computers were down for about 2-3 weeks the whole time that I worked there. I was getting checks on time, I was just only being paid for one weeks worth of pay instead of two. That happened for 3 weeks in a row. Pizza Hut also holds your first weeks worth of pay, but I was told that I wouldn't get a check after I quit.

Anyone that has had a weeks pay held back knows that you get a last check after you quit or get fired. I am now owed around $600 from Pizza Hut but have been getting no help in trying to collect this. I called pizza hut stores and they just kept giving numbers to try instead of giving the the district manager's number, which is what I was asking for. I eventually got a hold of the people that write the checks and they told me that the store manager has to tell them that I am owed money before they'll pay me. So, I called the store manager again, who doesn't know me, and was told that he can't help me. I was also told by the store manager that the people that write the checks would be the people that have all of the information. The check people did say that they'd see if my last check was cashed and if it's not then they'll mail it to me.

Because of this underpayment from pizza hut, I am now in more debt than I have ever been before. I have college loans, household bills, and so on that can't be paid cause of this. My credit is ruined becuase of Pizza Hut and I am only 20 years old. I cannot believe that they can get away with this. My whole life is being effected by this and I am furious.

I have tried to resolve this without going through an attorney, but I am getting no help from anyone. I am now interested in an attorney. I would love to hear from anyone that can help or has any input. Anyone is more than welcome to comment.
