I signed up with Platinum because they said and had plenty of collateral material to show that the were one of the best.

what I got:

I signed in December for construction to begin in January.

My pool was finished in July...you do the math.

They outsource and take no responsibility for any thing.

My coping tile was different colors and had to be replaced 3X and still does not match.

I knew that they would rip up my backyard sprinkler because they told me. They ripped up my gas line to my BBQ pit. There was gas leaking, and they refuse to fix it until I came down on them and refuse the rest of the payment.

After my pool was final;ly finished after the 6 months that they had said would be done in 30-60 days, it rained. My pool was filled with mud (because they rip up your yard and grass is gone...my yard is huge ..still happened). I had to fight them to clean up my pond that was supposed to be a pool. To their credit (actually a Supervisor, Paul), they put in drains to keep this from happening. But, to this day, my $400 worth of pool filters that should have lasted 4 years lasted 1 year, because they were recycling mud in my pool.

I have had to call maintenance at least once a month. The "pool school" guy could not wait to take off. after my nightmare, he bitched about his Mother in laws B-Day the whole time and skipped some esential parts..trust me.

After that whole nightmare, my sales guy, Danny Colleci, who said that he would be ther the whole time...never saw me after he made the sale.

I get some good service from Haywoord reps and the gurantee guy, Mark Bermis, who is apparently not there any more.

Other than that, I would not wish Platinum pools on my worst enemy!
