I was seeking ways to build up my credt and/or recieve a loan. I came across Platinum Trust card online and noticed the charge of $89.00 to activate the card. I immediately canceled my online application. A few days later, I recieved a call from Platinum Trust stating that they received my application. I indicated that I was not interested and the representative, named Shawn at extension 040, stated that there is a one time fee of $89.00 and that there were NO other charges that would be applied and that  my limit would be $9500.00. I asked what was the catch? Shawn stated, that there were no catch. I specifically asked if the card could be utilized like a regular "credit card", Shawn stated "yes". I asked him again and I recieved the same reply. He said that he would email my credit card number to my email to activate my card and that I could start using it the same day, anywhere I choose. I paid $89.00 and I DID NOT recieve a card number to my email. I called the next day and the representative I spoke with, a female, sent the 16 digit card number to my email. I also asked her if the card could be used like a regular credit card. She indicated "yes". I go online and activate the card. I noticed that I only had access to products that was exclusively on their website. I called customer service again and got the same rep that emailed my card number. She even confirmed that she was the one that had spoken to me... They were rude and unwilling to listen. I asked the representative again, if the credit card could be used like any other credit card and I explained the previous situation. She then said "no"! During the conversation she was very rude and placed me on hold several times. She indicated that there were other customers that she was tending to. I asked why was I lied to about how the card could be used, she stated that no one had lied to me. I requested to speak with a "manager". The rep. indicated that she was the assistant manager (which was not true and I know from customer service experience, the company wants you, as the rep, to handle the call). I was never transferred to a manager or given another number to file a complaint. The rep. continued to be rude and unprofessional, which I indicated to her. Nothing got resolved!! Now I'm stuck with a only a card number that was sent to my email and I'm out of $89.00, that I did not have to begin with. I was under the impression that I could pay remaining bills with the card, like a regular credit card (WRONG)!!!

After speaking with the rude rep I noticed that I was receiving "UNKNOWN" calls, back to back. My cell phone is set up to block unknown calls. So I decided to unblock my phone from recieving unknown calls to see who was calling. When I answered, the rep hung up. She called again, I did not answer and I recieved a startling voicemail on Jun 3rd at 4pm. On this voicemail it was the "exact" same rep. that I had just spoken to. She called me rude names and said that she has ALL of my personal information. I place the block back on my phone. She continued to try and call me the entire day!!! The calls lasted for about 2 or 3 days. She was not able to get back through to my phone due to my block.

If there is any way that I can file a claim or a law suit, please help! I still have the emails recieved from Platinum Trust including the derogatory voicemail from their representative on my cell phone.
