I dealt with this creepy raspy voice animal named Steve who is partners with this foreign guy and Derrick. Problems mounted up from them over the last four months.
On August of 2009 I received a recording at my home with president obama's voice and some brief information regarding the credit crisis and the possibility of reducing my credit card debt. I was prompted to press one to get more information. When I was transferred I spoke with a so called Debt consultant who indicated they worked for a law firm with an "A" rating with the better business bureau. Little did I know this A stood for (Another Scam) I was told they could reduce my debt in half and represent me in court if I was sued. I was considering bankruptcy but they told me I would be able to resolve my debt in 24 months and maintain a good credit rating and was assured I was being provided legal representation. In short, 11 months later the majority of my money has gone to the fee's associated with the program. My bank account has been frozen by a judgment awarded to chase bank. When I called client services regarding this issue and another court date no legal representation was offered. My credit is worse than if I had a bankruptsy and I have lost thousands of dollars. I was desperate and these clever profiteers capitalized on my situation. Please report your situation if you have been victimized. Do not let them move forward against others.

YOU GOT SUED!!!!!

this is what your debt management companies are doing.  Let me help your story, and you did leave out one part.

These companies promise to keep your good credit rating.  They cant.  Letting bills go into default status and you get sued, you may never get credit again.  I bet you don't.

Before Chase sued you and got the judgement, you got called from Chase's lawyer.  You either did not answer the phone or didnt take them seriously.  I'm sure they attempted to warn you.  When you told "steve" you were getting called, they then gave Chase's lawyers a POA, so now they deal with them.  Chase then demanded payment, Steve told them to F off cause they were taking all your money at the time so you didnt have any in your "escrow" account to pay.  Then they said we'll just sue, cause they do asset investigations out the a*s before they do.  They saw you had money, house or houses, or worked in a state where you get garnished and you got jacked up.

People, if a law firm calls you, and you're with a Debt settlement company, and they didnt pay them, you have to, or you WILL get sued.  Read above again to prove my point.

And answer your phone.  Sometimes these companies dont have the POA on file and call you to tell you to pay.  Pay them.  If you say "company X is handling my affairs" and hang up, your fkd.  Trust me.
