My account (angeldamaged) was deleted - without just cause or explanation from the site owner "Marcus" or any representative of the company/corporation.



I attempted to login in about a dozen times without success, and kept getting re-directed to a page where, about five or six bullets down, they mentioned that accounts may be deleted for "being rude/mean".



I had recently updated my profile, including the following paragraphs, verbatim, which I will cut and paste here: 




"Taking it from the topIf you are more than ten pounds overweight you need to look at another mans profile or be hitting Jenny Craigs website and the gym.  Just a guess here, but if you weigh 145 or less you might be in the running.  I might weigh 140, tops, soaking wet with a full load on.  I am quite sure that if I let myself go to Hell, I too could have a big fat a*s and double or triple chins



If you carry baggage from a previous relationship, again, look at another profile.  I am not carrying any and I have neither the time, the inclination, or the patience to deal with that crap.



If you have drug or alcohol problems, past or present (doesnt matter), target some other misfortunate or stupidly sympathetic character to practice sobering up with.



I do not need fixing and I am not in the repair business and have no intention of getting into it.  If you have issues, well, find a psychiatrist or a therapist.



I am honest.  I will never lie to you about anything, and I believe being up front here is very important.  I value the truth above all else.  People have told me that I am too honest (is there such a thing?) but really, if you lie to someone you are stealing their faith and trust in you, and I would rather have the cold, naked, brutal truth over a pack of crap any day."



I posted this in my profile in an attempt to be honest and not waste anyone's time, my own included,and I can only assume that I was reported for being "mean/rude".  I was not asked to make any corrections to my profile, it was just deleted, period.



For a site that allows outright fraudulent profiles, homosexuals, bi-sexuals, transvestites, and an even wider range of social deviates to look for partners, it irks me to no end that my profile was deleted because I was just blunt, honest, and very up-front with any prospective members of the opposite sex that might be interested in an honest, Christian, long-term relationship.



I have heard worse things from three year-old children than what I wrote in my profile. I did not swear, use profanity, or attack anyone with a personal private remark(s).



I have the entire document on file, exactly as I posted it on the site.



What the hell has happened to free speech?

 I was deleted too for no reason for the past two years--it doesn't matter what you write...there are people on there who are married and trying to get anything on the side....or all types of strange people...the place is full of con-artists, psychopaths jerks creeps liars....I was upset too as I had a lot of people I was talking to as friends and then it was gone....and no way of keeping in touch....the mods are idiots apparently or who knows what--stupid place...

  You cannot figure out what might be considered rude or mean in your profile?   You can be honest and blunt without being rude or demeaning.  Your post says a lot more about you than you think.

  Free speech is alive and well.   Of course that only applies to the government interfering with your speech.   The website you refer to is privately owned and the owners can do whatever they like with regard to content.
