We had contacted P.O.D.S. to help us relocate from the Midwest to TX, the initial impression was good as they had been on-time delivering the pod and taking it to their storage facility.  We decided to have the pod shipped to a storage faclity in TX and the recieved a quote which we paid in full.

The pod was to be delivered on Friday, 7/2 and they contacted us to give the "3" hour window from 2:45-545 PM.  Well, that time frame came and went without the pod being delivered nor a phone call.  We made several calls to the company and were advised they "didn't know" where our pod was, explained that it wasn't their fault because the call center is outsourced, and that they would "make notes" on the account.  Suprisingly, every time we called back and got a new representative, no one could see the notes that the previous employee had allegedly made.  We waited until 9 PM beore giving up on them for the evening.

The following morning we contacted the company again and they advised that the pod was in a nearby city and that they had called but failed to leave a voicemail.  I am here to tell you, we did not receive a call.  They now advised that we were at the end of the line and would have to wait-- as if this was our fault.

The pod finally arrived around 11 AM and the driver was rude and related that he needed to get this pod picked up "soon".  Insinuating that we were doing him an injustice by not unloading it on the spot.  Sorry sir, our help went home the night before after the pod failed to be delivered.

To top it off, we placed a call to pods again today who advised the case was closed and they decided that $100 was sufficient compensation.  No questions asked, no apology, nothing.  I related to them that this was not sufficient and all of this could have been avoided if they had communicated with us.  They said I could speak with the location manager -- who was also the driver that delivered the pod and was rude to begin with-- and essentailly beg him for better compensation.

As of this writing, I am still waiting on his call as they would not provide his phone number.  I am not sure how I ended up waiting on their call again... but it goes to show how poorly managed this situation is.
