I called Pop a lock to open my car door after locking my keys inside.  I was asked the make, year and model of my car.  My car is a popular american made vehicel, nothing special or unusual.  I was told the prices start at 25.00.   So I figured I would be paying 50.00, maybe 60.00 at the most.   After waiting about 45 min. a young man arrived in a very old beat up car.  I was surprised it had no sign indicating the business on it.   He asked me what year the car was, even though I'm sure he already had the information because I had given it to the dispatcher.

He informed me the charge would be 110.00 dollars.  I told him that I was told on the phone that the prices start at 25.00, and thought 110.00 was a big difference.  I told him I had planned on maybe 60.00 at the most.  Right away he offered to do the service for 85.00.  I felt like the dispatcher could have told me it would be 110.00 when I first called since he knew what type of vehicel I had and what city I was in...if that is what they base it on.

Of course I would have told him "no thank you" and called another service or got a hold of a friend to take me home to get the other set of keys.  But they were deceptive by giving me misleading information just to get the guy to come.   Anyway I refused to pay even the 85.00.  He said I would owe a 40.00 service call fee.   Of course I couldn't get into my car to pay that!  He gave me his cell #, and because I didn't think it was his fault, I promised I would get him the 40.00.   By now I got a hold of a friend who kindly was on her way to help me out.  Right away I started getting very harassing phone calls from a call center.

I was going to pay the 40.00, because I felt sorry for this kid in the beat up car!  Especially after reading the compaints from some of the employees about how awful they are treated and ripped off by this company.   They have been calling at all hours, even til 10 pm.  A man with a Indian accent called so I think they are using a call service like so many Co. are doing now.   I will just call this young guys cell and give him the 40.00 and pray he can find a better company to work for.
