James whitehead from Power Expectations Inc. (14100 SW 27th Ct Davie, FL 33330) at 954-805-9238 claims to be a generator service technician claims to be a certified technician by Generac generators. In speaking with Generac they say they have multiple complaints against Mr. Whitehead. He comes off to be the nicest guy until he gets your money. This guy is nothing but a con man. Stay clear of him. He makes it look like he is working on your generator by throwing spark plugs and other materials on the ground. He also stole our brand new battery and replaced it with an obsolete used one. When another service tech looked at our generator he could not believe the shoddy work and seeing things that were done to it that didn't need to be done (seeing how this is a new generator). This man has been reported to the Attorney General's office and also he is reported to the license bureau of Tallahasse to revoke his gas license. Generac is removing him from their list of servicemen in the United States. Please do yourself a favor, you will only be wasting money. This guy rips everyone off and can cause you great harm with his negligent and fraudulent ways. He nearly killed our whole family with his negligence. Here are other complaints against him. He Also known as Saleserve, Inc. 10091 NW 39th St Hollywood, FL 33024. RH Whitemar Inc. 866-535-5199. Address 741 Girar ave. Davie FL, 333325.

Be Honest about Power Expectations!!

AUTHOR: James - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, January 04, 2018

I have been in business for 17 years and I never have received a complaint about me or my services. Mr. Rick Lentini accusations are fabricated along with all the ramifications of all the consequences are false too. The facts - I had serviced the Lentini's generator for 4 years - I did not install this unit - after 5-6 days of running after Hurricane Irma his air cleaner basically melted - I spoke to Generac about this and they could not explain this issue except that it was extremely hot and humid out and the unit had run continuously. Thank you!! Jim Whitehead

Rebuttal to complaint

AUTHOR: Jo - (United States)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 03, 2018

I happen to come across this ripoff complaint regarding Jm Whitehead, owner of Power Expectations, and think it is very biased. I have dealt with Jim for 11 years without any problem. He is professional and reliable.

A real con artist would be the contractor that sold me the generator; using another contractors license. His company was ill equiped to install generators. He was finally arrested. Jim took over the mess he left; it took almost a year from when I purchased it to get it up and running.

The information about Generac having numerous complaints about him is untrue. I spoke with Generac this morning and he is in good standing with the company. There are many more positive reviews on Jim. This is the first time I have seen anything negative. I guess you can't please everyone. And no, I am not related to, or get any compensation for my comments.
