Power Home Technology Cancelation ripoff raleigh North Carolina

On September 11, I started a contract with PHT. At the time I was a customer with ADT. I did not think I was still on a contact with ADT. Once I found this information out on the 12th I called PHT to see what can be done. They informed me to find out the dollar amount which I did. I called back and provided that information. I was told that someone will get back to me to let me know what can be done. I received a call on the 13th which I missed due to be at work. When I called back the sales rep who called me was at lunch or had left for the day.

The other sales rep I spoke to told me he did not know what was the agreement and would rather allow the previous sales rep to handle it since she had already started it. I was told that she would call me once she comes back. I never received a second phone call from her. I called on saturday and at the time I called the office was closed. I then called PHT today and was told because it was outside of the cancellation window there was nothing that could be done. I explained that I did everything in my power to get the situation fixed. They said there is nothing they could do to assist me.

I believe this company doesn't support the customers. The young lady I spoke to today said notes was in my account detailing an offer that the company would be willing to do. That information was never passed on to me, nor did the sales rep who called me leave a message saying what they could do. If I had that information I would have been able to cancel my contact on time, especially if I had received a call back. At this point I would like to get out of my contact, I do not like the support I receive from this company.
