Powerhouse Supplements is a ripoff; Unresponsive to inquiries re returned order POW-46737. Cincinnati, Ohio

On 21 March 2002, I ordered one (1) bottle of MuscleTech Hydroxycut240 capsules.

On 11 May 2002,I received the order when my ship ported at Kwajalein Marshall Islands. I opened the box and merchandise to find the merchandise in poor condition. A few of the capsules apperead to have been open or broken; their contents was all over the remaining capsules.

I wrote a letter placing it, along with a copy of the receipt and the bottle of capsules, in the same box, addressed it to the address on the receipt, and returned it by USPS mail on 11 May 2002. The address used is the one listed on this report submission. I requested a new bottle of the supplement, or a refund of the charge to my VISA card.

Note that my VISA credit card was charged $44.55.

I sent two subsequent e:mails, dated 21 June and 10 July, to the addess listed in their webpage, ewelch@cinci.rr.com , regarding my order and the returned goods, but have yet to receive any reponse.

On 10 July 2002, I sent a package containing all of my e:mail and USPS correspondence to an address found on their website.That address is Powerehouse Supplements, 576 Glenrose Lane, Cincinnati OH 45245. This package was sent certified mail and was returned to me unopened on 15 August 2002,when my ship pulled into Sasebo Japan.

On 15 August, I sent an e:mail to Powerhouse Supplements at another address found on their website, powerhouse@fuse.net, regarding this order POW-46737, but have received no reply as yet.

This company is quite unresponsive to this customer's complaint and inquiries. There are too many addresses listed for this company, and no direction as to which should be used for compaints.

I would like a refund of $44.45 or a new 240 capsule bottle of MuscleTech Hydroxycut. Can you please help me?
