Pre-Screen Inc Emp-Screen, Inc. Pre-Screen sent me a Phishing email with the front that they had been contacted by an employer that I recently applied for a job with. Internet

The email starts out by saying that this email was sent to me because I applied for an employment opportunity with one of their clients.  Exactly which client it was they didn't say, and that's what threw up the red flags in the first place.

However I checked the BBB website and they aren't even on the radar.  A link from their email takes you to their webpage at http://empsreen.com/contact.aspx. 

Their webpage says, "The reason that you received an e-mail from us was that you recently conducted an employment search via the internet.  IE, Careerbuilder, Monster, etc..

We have not been contacted to provide Pre-Employment services on behalf of any employer that you may have applied through.  Our intentions were only to provide you with a means to view your Credit Reports." (Bold and italics added)

This is a scam do not reply to the email.
