I bought an extended auto protection warranty through the Omnisure Group for the company named Precise Auto Protection, located in Azusa, California on the 17th of January 2014.

I traded in a Nissan 370Z on May 10, 2014 and called Precise Auto Protection to see how to go about receiving a refund from which I had paid in $2200 dollars on my USAA Credit Card.  The representative that I spoke with told me I needed to send in a letter stating what kind of vehicle, year, mileage, my contract #, and that I wanted a refund of my money credited back onto my credit card.  I typed a letter with all the information on it and sent it off in the mail on the 15th of May, 2014 and the company sent me back an email on the 20th of May, 2014 informing me that they had received my request and would start working on my refund.  In the companies manual that they send out about their policies, it stated that I would have to wait 30 business days for my refund, subtracting for the amount of time that the automobile was insured.  I was told by several of the employees I contacted that the amount to be refunded was $1904 dollars.

The date of which I should have been refunded an amount of $1904 dollars was the 27th of June, 2014.  Today's date is the 18th of July, 2014.Ever since then, I have contacted this company several times about getting my refund and every person I talk to has a different excuse as to why I have not had this money credited back to my credit card.  I have turned Precise Auto Protection into the Better Business Bureau and received a case # of 361240 and the BBB has sent me an email stating that the business has still not responded to my complaint as of the 17th of July, 2014.

This company(Precise Auto Protection) is trying their best to rip me off of what I am owed back from the money that I have paid in.  I am in the process of retaining a lawyer as of today's date, 18 July, 2014.

Finally got my refund back

AUTHOR: Miriam - ()

POSTED: Friday, August 08, 2014

Precise Auto Protection has finally paid up my money.  They held onto it for about 2 months longer than when I was first told of getting a refund.  They do not stand by their 30 business days, then u get your refund.  I had to get my credit card company and the Alabama State Attorney's office involved to get my check finally.
