I HAVE BEEN HARRASED BY PRESSLER AND PRESSLER AND NOW I WANNA FIGHT BACK!! THEY RECENTLY PUT A LEVY ON MY BANK ACCT. I CONTACTED THEM THEY TOLD ME I HAD A CITIBANK VISA IN 1995 AND THE ACCT WAS CLOSED IN 1996. I TODAY BAUGHT A COPY OF MY CREDIT REPORT ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY RAN MY CREDIT W/O MY PERMISSION 06/13/2005(WANNA KNOW IF THAT'S LEAGAL??) WHEN I CONTACTED THEM THEY COULD NOT TELL ME ANYTHING REGARDING THE ACCT AND THE DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY (NEW CENTURY FINANCIAL) OR MY ALLEGED ACCT. I STATED TO THEM I HAVE NEVER EVER HAD A CITIBANK VISA EVER BUT THEY COULDN'T GIVE ME ANY INFO! THEN I CONTACTE HACKENSACK COURT(CLERK) ALL THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO FILE A MOTION TO VACATE JUDGEMENT. WHEN I WENT TO THE COURTHOUSE TO GET THE PAPERS IT'S A LOT MORE CONFUSING THAN IT SOUNDS, SO I AM SEEKENING LEGAL COUNCIL B/C ITS PERSONAL NOW. I WANNA KNOW IF I HAVE ANY GROUNDS TO SUE THEM AND I WANT THIS JUDGEMENT THROWN OUT. SO IF ANYONE KNOWS A GOOD LAWYER PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!

New Century Financial Services, Inc. represented by the debt collection law firm Pressler and Pressler, LLP I have received a notice of application for wage execution from this agency claiming that they will garnish 10% or 25% wages from an old creditor T-Mobile. This is absurd I have never received proper notification from a collection agency for this matter before escalating to garnishing my wages. The only letter received was the balance owed after closing my account with T-Mobile which was a month ago and currently waiting for my rebate card from AT&T to payoff the balance. After doing some research I have discovered that New Century Financial Services, Inc is regularly represented by the debt collection law firm Pressler and Pressler, LLP. Both of these agencies are notorious violators of federal debt collection laws known as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ,FDCPA, and is sued regular by consumers for these violations. Pressler and Pressler This company goes to court gets a judgment against me without me knowing about a debt. How is this possible? Why dont we start a class action lawsuit against this firm? They buy debt, say they try to contact you and then without your knowledge get a judgement against you. Dont they offer the right to a consumer to challenge the accuracy of a debt?
