Pressler And Pressler Took my only means of support - my social security disability check from my checking account. Cedar Knolls New Jersey

I had a debt with capital one years ago when my situation was different. I explained to pressler and pressler that since I would like to pay any debts I owe to anyone I can not at this time. I am on social security disability widowed, in my sixties, and just have enough to get by. My sons got me a 98 chevy to go to the drs., hospitals, ect. and they want to take that away from me too ! It is a Federal Law that they can not levy your bank account if you only receive money from SSD plus my car isn't worth the $1,000 exempt I am intitled to for personal assets.

My SSD check and car are the only things I have. I still don't know how they can take money out of my bank account when it is against the law to levy a SSD only account . If I am able to get there I am taking them to court to get my money back. I have to since I need it to live the rest of the month. I will still have to pay the overdraft fees this has caused me so I guess that is one less dr. I see ! The laws are---42USC407 and NJSA 2A:17-19. Thanks to my sister finding this site on her computer and helping me write this I hope it helps someone else.
